SchGo provides Laser cutting service by way of a Salvagnini L5 Fiber laser cutting system. The l5 is the machine that Salvagnini has dedicated exclusively to fiber. Its cutting-edge technology means that it is able to reach the very highest levels in terms of speed, accuracy, reliability, and performance to SchGo’s facility. Combined with the experience of SchGo’s laser team, this technology allows us to outperform our competition. All Salvagnini laser machines feature revolutionary mechanical and control solutions, together with original programming and nesting software, this allows us at SchGo to tackle any project, from multi part and piece nests, to simple one part cuts.
Salvagnini has taken Fiber Laser technology to the next level, adding their patented mechanical drive system consisting of a compass structure, made possible due to the fiber lasers absence of a defined optical path. This allows our machine to move with dynamics of up to 5Gs and use less power to do so, due to the less weight of this head.
Machinable Materials and Thicknesses
With shorter wavelength characteristic of fiber lasers, our machine has the ability to cut highly reflective metals, such as high purity aluminum alloys, brass, copper and galvanized steel. Our machine has ability to cut thicker aluminum quicker than conventional laser technology.
Cutting Envelop and Automatic Pallet Changer
Our Fiber Laser machine can cut up to 60″ x 120″ material. Coupled with the fully automatic pallet changer, material is moved in and out of the machine automatically.
High Quality Cutting
The proprietary leading technology fiber laser cutting head features a single focusing optic for high quality cutting across the entire range of thicknesses, assuring fast production changeovers. Lens changes, when necessary for cleaning and maintenance, are fast and easy.
The fiber laser cutting head equipped with optical centering sensor for work sheet alignment and centering. The sensor is fully integrated into our nesting software for high precision cutting.
The integrated nesting software provide optimum nesting of parts onto raw material. This allows the maximum use of material and cost saving. Parts can be nesting as close as 1/16".
